Ms Jennifer Zalewski It is hard to believe that it has been four weeks since I started at St. Patrick. I am very thankful for the warm, heartfelt welcome I have been given by the staff, students, and families. During my first month here, I have gotten the opportunity to get to know each of my wonderful, unique students. I have also had the chance to meet many of you parents. Hopefully, I will be able to meet the rest of you very soon. After attending Catholic schools myself for over 14 years, I understand not only the benefits of Catholic education but also the sacrifices that are made. For most of my elementary/middle school career I attended Christ Child Academy in Sheboygan, WI. After attending a public high school, I chose to attend Marian University in Fond du Lac, WI. There I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. Along with my major in elementary/ middle education, I received minors in mathematics education, Spanish, and athletic coaching. I began my full-time teaching career two years ago in Kenosha, WI. I taught seventh grade math at Mahone Middle School. Last year I was a longterm high school geometry substitute at Harborside Academy. In addition to teaching I enjoy coaching. While working at Mahone, I served as an assistant track and field coach. Last year, I was an assistant coach for Kenosha Bradford’s track and field team. I am excited to see that many of the students are involved in athletics at St. Patrick. No matter what your athletic ability is, I truly believe in the benefit of being part of a team. Outside of school you can probably find me watching ESPN or any kind of sporting event I can find. I have been a diehard Wisconsin sports fan my whole life (even for the three years I lived in Illinois)! Another hobby I have enjoyed since I was little is reading. I can spend hours getting lost in a good book. It is very exciting to see that many of my students share this passion! Again, I cannot say enough how glad I am that you have chosen St. Patrick for your students. I look forward to continue being a part of this enthusiastic learning community.

Hi everyone!
My name is Libby Grahn and I'm the new 5-8th Grade Religion teacher. In addition to teaching at St. Pat's School, I'm also the Youth Minister at St. Patrick's Parish. I grew up in Colby, WI (home of Colby cheese) and I am a 2008 graduate from Benedictine College (Kansas), where I graduated with a degree in Theology and minor in English. Since graduating, I taught 4th grade and spent a year working as a caregiver at an assisted living home in La Crosse, WI. That's when God called me to St. Patrick's. It's been a wonderful year in Elkhorn, and I look forward to the many to come. In addition to my duties as teacher and Youth Minister, I spend my spare time playing piano, trying new foods, singing karaoke, and preparing for my wedding next fall with my fiance. I look forward to working with each of the St. Pat's families in the years to come.

Fr Oriol Regales
I was born in Barcelona (Spain) 39 years ago. After finishing my graduate studies in Philosophy and Education in the year 1992 I went to Kenya to work as a lay missionary for 3 years. First, I worked near the border with Somalia during the Somali War; later on I also worked near the border with Sudan and Ethiopia (Turkana region) helping with some human development projects. After several years of discernment and consultation with friends and missionary priests, I decided to become a priest. Therefore, I was sent to study theology to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the year 1996. In 2001, after 5 years of theology studies, I was ordained priest in Milwaukee. After ordination I was appointed associate pastor for two years at St. Mary’s in Kenosha (WI) and afterward I was assigned to be the pastor of a bilingual parish for one year in Racine (WI). In 2004 I was requested to work as a missionary priest in the Dominican Republic where I have lived for the last 7 years. In the Dominican Republic I run a large parish called La Sagrada Familia (Holy Family) in Sabana Yegua together with several human development projects.
